Steps in the immigration process

1. The first step you must do is go to the nearest Mexican Consulate in your home state or country and apply for residency and get a Visa stamp on your passport.

2. Once you arrive here in Puerto Vallarta or anywhere in Mexico, you will have only 30 days to make an application for residency. This can be very difficult if you don’t know where to go and you don’t speak Spanish. It is our purpose to help and guide you through this very complicated and challenging process. The following steps are what we will do for you in order to get your documents in order:

3. We will collect the necessary documents and government fees required from you.

4. We will go to the INM office and make an application appointment for you.

5. At the appointment time, we will personally accompany you to the INM office and guide you through the appointment. (Fingerprints and Photos)

6. After approximately 2 to 3 weeks the card will arrive at the INM office and we will again accompany you to the office to collect your card.
